Child Visitation Schedules

Visitation schedules can be set by the parties or by the court, and as in all matters having to do with the children are modifiable depending on changed circumstances.

When designing a visitation schedule, it is important to get it right from the outset, otherwise the parties will often find themselves relitigating this matter over and over again. Important considerations include not only how many days per week that the non-custodial parent has with the minor children, but how holiday time is allotted and what occurs in the event that one party cannot care for the children when it is their designated time.
